Book me for 2024
I'm constantly seeking out fresh venues to conduct workshops, both in-person and through digital or Zoom teaching options! If you represent an organization involved in the arts or are interested in hosting a workshop at your establishment, please reach out to me. With a track record of organizing and facilitating workshops since 2012, I take immense pleasure in what I do and relish the opportunity to share my techniques and expertise with individuals who share similar passions, whether it's in-person or in a virtual setting.
What Students Have Learned
In my previous in-person workshops, students have experienced an innovative and imaginative method of felt-making! They have gained proficiency in diverse felting techniques, including the creation of 3D shapes using a resist, skillful color blending, and structural blocking. By completing one project each day, participants not only leave the class with multiple finished pieces but also acquire a solid foundation of knowledge to pursue their crafting endeavors at home.
Age Groups I've Worked With
In 2012 and 2013, I taught adults in KY at the Arts Council of Mercer County and Wild Rose Farm. From 2014 to 2019, I held five-day wet felting workshops annually for groups of four to eight adults at the Eureka Springs School of the Arts in Arkansas. For three years, from 2018 to 2020, I taught a three-day wet felting workshop in February for groups of eight to ten adults at Living Felt in Texas. During the summer of 2022, I taught and assisted in a wet-felting summer program at the Lexington School in Kentucky for a group of ten children.
