Lattice Scarf
The felted lattice scarf is a beginner's level felting project and just like the name suggests it’s a wet felting technique which produces a fabric with "holes" in it. These "holes" can be circular or square (pictured) or abstract. This project will introduce students to the basic concepts of how wool felts and how to lay out wool to product their desired lattice effect.
Small Bag
The felted small bag is a beginner's level felting project. This project will introduce students to the basic concepts of resist felting and cord construction.
Fantasy Fedora
The felted fantasy fedora is a beginner's level felting project. This is one of the easiest hats to start on, students will learn the basics of resist felting. As well as touching on a very simple and basic version of hat blocking.
Ruffle Scarf
The felted ruffle scarf is a beginner's level felting project. Mastering the "felted ruffle" is one of basic building-blocks on any felter's journey, and once you've mastered this technique you will be ready for more advanced projects. This project will solidify for students the basic concepts of felting.
Animal Ear Hood
The animal ear hood is a beginner's level felting project, but is it a more complicated hat then the Fantasy Fedora. It is a good jumping off point for students if they want to eventually try more complicated hats. Students will learn a more complected concept of resist felting.
Mushroom Witch Hat
The felted mushroom hat is a beginner's level hat felting project, but is it a more complicated hat then the Fantasy Fedora. It is a good jumping off point for students if they want to eventually try more complicated hats. Students will learn a more complected concept of resist felting, and more in-depth version of hat blocking.
Short Tail Witch Hat
The felted short tail witch hat is the most complicated of the beginner level projects. Students will be taught how to block wrinkles into their hats, this version of hat blocking is the most complicated of all the projects.
