Deciding on the size of your hat's brim is a good place to start when designing your hat. Brims come in two sizes. The smallest size is 4 inches (or 10cm), the largest size is 6 inches (or 15cm). The "Practical" Witch

The four inch brim is what most people consider the "practical" choice. It is also the frugal choice, but it does come with a different cost. It is not as high fantasy or as much of a showstopper as the bigger brim options. This brim choice is perfect for the witch with a sensible side.

The "Glam" Witch

The six inch brim is the stuff of fantasy! It is very iconic, many famous witches depicted in media have huge, nearly impossible wide brims. This brim adds a certain bewitching vibe to your overall look and really pushes it over the top! This brim is perfect for the witch who is all about glamorously defying gravity!

Deciding on the style of your hat's tail is the next best step to take when designing your hat. Tails come in three primary styles or positions. Other then the brim, the tail position is the best way to achieve the witchy look you want. The "Snug" Witch

The curled down tail is snug and maybe doesn't feel like going out tonight. It doesn't grab your attention and the compact shape lends this position to the more practical side of things. It is my second most requested tail style, but not by a wide margin. This tail style choice is perfect for the witch with a introverted side.

The "Outgoing" Witch

The curled up tail is by far my most requested style, about 90% of customers order it. It will get a double-take for sure and you might hit someone in the face if you turn around in a tight space. Not compact, it isn't afraid of being noticed and wants you to be impressed with it gravity defying structure. This hat is perfect for the witch who is loud and proud.

The "Daring" Witch

The side curled tail is my least requested style and I don't get why! It is my favorite by far. It is both compact and stunning. You get to show off this style head-on, no need to give your friends a profile view. This hat is perfect for the daring witch with a sensible side.

A Choice of Two Wrinkle Styles

Wrinkle Styles Overview

Deciding on the thickness of your hat's wrinkles is up next as you continue to design your perfect witch hat. These two styles are about even in popularity! Each style is described in further detail in the tabs, click on the style you're considering to learn more!

The "Elegant" Witch

These thin wrinkles are the height of elegance! So graceful! Thinner ribs allow for more wrinkles, elongating the curve of the tail for a more organic look. I love this look, but blocking it does take a lot longer! This wrinkle style is perfect for the witch who floats like an elegant swan across the sky.

The "Blunt" Witch

The thicker wrinkles style wants you to get to the point! Thicker ribs allow for fewer wrinkles, shortening the curve of tail for a more blunt look. It is a no-nonsense approach, unlike its fancy sister. A wrinkle is a wrinkle to this witch. This hat is perfect for the witch who is not wasting time!
